The Women of the Military
Today is Veteran’s Day in America, a day in which we honor all military veterans. It is also celebrated in other parts of the world, sometimes known as Armistice Day or sometimes as Remembrance Day. This day was chosen because it marks the end of major hostilities in World War I. The Germans surrendered on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.
We here at Gunaxin salute all those who have served in the military, both at home and abroad. Please go out and honor in your own way your country’s veterans, living or dead, for their dedicated and loyal service to their country. In the meantime, we present you with some of the women of the military from around the globe.
