NFL Cheerleaders for Breast Cancer Awareness

We’re sure you all noticed the accents of pink on Monday Night Football this past week, and it’s something you’ll be seeing for the next month across the NFL. Hopefully you were made aware, because that was the point, that the pink was in significance of Breast Cancer Awareness month. From the NFL :

The NFL, its clubs, players and the NFL Players Association are proud to support the fight against breast cancer. Our campaign, “A Crucial Catch”, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, is focused on the importance of annual screenings, especially for women who are 40 and older. Throughout October, NFL games will feature players, coaches and referees wearing pink game apparel, on-field pink ribbon stencils, special game balls and pink coins – all to help raise awareness for this important campaign.

So who on the football field can raise awareness of breasts better than the Cheerleaders? Ok, that wasn’t punny. Forgive me. But you have to admit, the addition of pink to their outfits is intriguing. To prove the point, and further the cause of Cancer Research (which is a charity that we honestly do support), we’ve put together this gallery of the young ladies of the NFL looking pretty in pink over the past few seasons.
