Mini Hottie Terra Jolé

Gunaxin got the pleasure of hosting a pre-screening party for the film Midgets vs. Mascots at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, and there we met Terra Jolé, one of the characters in the movie who is competing for a million dollar prize. While M vs. M can be considered a breakout role for Ms. Jolé, she’s been making a name for herself for years as Mini-Brittney, performing Brittney Spears songs up on stage. Terra has also done Mini-Madonna, Mini-Cher, Mini-Alanis and Mini-Gaga. She headlined a show in Las Vegas called “Little Legends,” and has been performing all over the country, as well as internationally. She was also in the band Mini Kiss.

In M vs. M, Terra gets to sing a very classic song, and she also has one of the most memorable moments in the entire film. I won’t tell you what it is, but when I saw it during the screening, I had to restrain myself from turning to her and saying WTF!? Trust me… Borat ain’t got nothin’ on her.

(Last year I typecasted myself as the ‘tall guy’ reporter after landing interviews with former NBA players Gheorghe Muresan and Manute Bol, both 7’7″. I felt I had no choice but to do something different, so I jumped at the chance to talk with Terra, who is 4’2″, as well as her castmates Joe Gnoffo and Nic Novicki, who once had a great part on The Sopranos. My attempt at a Gary Coleman interview failed, unfortunately, as he put his head down on the table and didn’t talk to anyone.)
