Fighting the stereotype that women of the Middle East are all required to wear burqas and cover up is the shining example that is Haifa Wehbe. The Arab beauty is a former Miss South Lebanon and runner-up Miss Lebanon, leading to a career being a cover girl. She’s also an accomplished singer, as she’s dropped a few albums and even opened for 50 Cent during his first concert in Lebanon. Yes, 50 Cent had a concert in the Middle East, who knew? Although well known in her part of the globe, she remains relatively unknown in the rest of the world.
