María José López : Wag Watch #3

María José “Coté” López is a Chilean model married to Inter Milan’s Luis Jiménez. That’s enough to qualify her as WAG status (even if she missed the cut for our Top 100 Footballers’ Wives And Girlfriends), but she went one better. She (allegedly) got involved with Chilean national and Apollon Limassol striker Mauricio Pinilla (while her husband was in another country no less). Oh what a tangled web we weave. Apparently Jiménez did not take to kindly to these actions, and crossed paths with Pinilla in a Santiago nightclub. Warned to stay away, Pinilla was not deterred and for his troubles recevied head trauma and a neck injury from Jiménez requiring hospitalization. Here’s what Jiménez was fighting over:
