Caressa Cameron : Miss America 2010
Caressa Cameron has been named Miss America 2010. Cameron, a 22-year-old from Fredericksburg, Va., outlasted her opponents in swimsuit, evening gown, talent and interview competitions. She beat out Miss California and Miss Tennessee, who came in first and second runner-up, respectively. Miss Louisiana was the third runner-up and Miss Kentucky was fourth runner-up.
Caressa won the title after strutting in a yellow dress, belting Beyonce’s “Listen” from “Dreamgirls” and telling kids they should get outside more often. She won a $50,000 scholarship and the crown in Las Vegas after a Saturday night pageant that started with 53 contestants.
