Anastasia Kosenkova: Wag Watch #16
Anastasia ‘Nastya’ Kosenkova is married to Stuttgart (on loan from FC Barcelona) midfielder Aliaksandr Hleb, arguably the greatest Belarusian footballer of all time. She’s followed him from his various stops, from his birth in Minsk to his failed transfer to Inter Milan and his stop at Arsenal in between. It really is a long journey from Milan to Minsk.
Nastya is also an ex-singer for the Belorussian pop group ‘Topless’. Can’t say I’m familiar with the group, although the name sounds promising. Apparently they were once every bit as popular as the Spice Girls, albeit only in Belarus. One has to start somewhere. The bastard Internet is a bit sparse on pictures of Ms. Kosenkova, so you’ll have to make do with what we have here. And no, we couldn’t find any evidence of the band Topless either. But here is something else involving the word topless to distract you:
